From hidden menus to confident browsing

As Lucky Iron Life expanded its audience, product line, and storytelling pages, the old sidebar menu became a roadblock. Important pages were buried and users had to work too hard to find what they needed. The site’s structure didn’t reflect how real customers explored or shopped.

To fix this, we stepped back and reworked the site’s information architecture. We created a new sitemap to clearly define content groupings, user paths, and navigation priorities. From there, we moved the menu to the top of the page and organized content into intuitive categories—making it easier for visitors to navigate and understand what the brand offers at a glance.

As we investigated their existing website, we realized Kelty Mental Health’s website was on Drupal 7. While Drupal 7 was a significant release in its time, Drupal 10 represents a modernized, more capable platform with improvements in technology, performance, security, and usability. While upgrading from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10 involves careful planning and execution, we discussed the benefits with Kelty Mental Health and agreed it would be a worthwhile endeavour. The modernized features of Drupal 10 would accommodate their growing content and support the diverse needs of their content editors.

A smarter navigation structure for a stronger experience

The new navigation is scannable, mobile-friendly, and built on familiar UX patterns. It supports the key customer actions like learning about the product, understanding how it works, and making a confident purchase. By reducing cognitive load and improving wayfinding, the site now feels easier to explore and more welcoming to new visitors.
