Turning an idea into an interactive journey
We started by wireframing the experience, mapping out each step from flavour selection to checkout to ensure the flow felt smooth and intuitive. Our team conducted competitive research to explore how other e-commerce food brands approached customization, then looked for ways to go beyond the standard. We landed on a personal twist: give users the ability to name their creation and generate a custom shareable link. This not only added delight, it also encouraged organic brand sharing through social media and messaging.
Built with React for performance and flexibility
To bring the Build-a-Pack to life, we developed a custom React app on top of Shopify. This gave us the flexibility to build a fast, dynamic interface with playful animations and real-time interactivity. We also added a smart autofill option for fans who want a surprise mix, making the experience just as fun for indecisive shoppers.
